Sadiq Khan Uses Coronavirus To Implement Cycle And Walking Lanes OnMain Roads. Plus One Rule For Prof Neil Ferguson And Another For HeidiAlexander.

Temporary bike lane plans for London. So far Euston Rd & Park Lane named - could become permanent.

 Today’s ‘Streetspace’ announcement by City Hall only illustrates how out of touch with working London.. the Mayor has become. To even suggest, as the Mayor does, that removing road space will not have a negative impact on essential commercial traffic is ..laughable.

To implement this scheme without any consultation, inadequate modelling and without recognising that commuter cycling is 7.30-9am and 4-6pm with little movement the other 20 hours of the day illustrates how distant City Hall has become from reality!

Meanwhile, On Bloomberg Today:

And On Twitter Today:
Frank Bullet said;

The irony of the fake concern for safety by the Metropolitan liberal elite who wish to capitalise on the deaths of thousands to force through their cycling policies & propaganda, when these were the very individuals who actively ignored the governments lockdown rules astonishing.

John Williams;
Never seen in all my years hoards of people walking up park lane apart from when there are events in the parks and the hotels but their all shut and no events so just a case of social engineering.

Taxi Leaks Extra Bit:
Adding a segregated cycle lane to Euston and Marylebone Road will cause complete gridlock along with a massive increase in pollution from almost stationary traffic.

Hypocrisy From The Mayors Office....One Rule For Them And Different Rule For Everyone Else.

Government scientist Neil Ferguson resigns after breaking lockdown rules to meet his married lover
Prof Ferguson allowed the woman to visit him at home during the lockdown while lecturing the public on the need for strict social distancing

The scientist whose advice prompted Boris Johnson to lockdown Briton resigned from his Government advisory position on Tuesday night after the Telegraph published a story alleging Prof Neil Ferguson broke social distancing rules to meet his married lover.

The Telegraph alleged he allowed a woman to visit him at home during the lockdown while lecturing to the public on the need for strict social distancing, in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus. The woman apparently lives with her husband and their children in another home.

Yet Deputy Mayor for transport Heidi Alexander openly flouts the lock down rules by regularly cycling 20-25 mile trips and advertises this fact on Twitter.

So are we wrong to expect Heidi’s resignation in the very near future ?????
