It's been bought to our attention, that some Uber drivers now allegedly using a fake GPS app called Lockito. The app is being used to create a series of fake routes to make the customers pay more on your trips.

The app is readily available from Google play and can be downloaded to android phones, but works best with most Samsung models. If you have a google account, it can also be downloaded onto iOS phones and tablets.

The driver enters the destination, then taps the screen a number of times to create a diversion all route.
Customers have cmlained tha they've received no help from the Uber in app help line over this issue.

Passengers are therefore advised to contact TfL directly as this is fraud and should be investigated fully.

TAXI LEAKS EXTRA BIT :
With this kind of evidence, along with admission of perjury, shouldn’t someone be pursuing a new meter hearing and outline exactly why cellular devices can not be deemed as a measuring device and how they are being abused as form of meter; this is exactly why ours are sealed!
